where is everyone?

Just a quick question for all you people I see online, with Red Dead listed at the game you're playing. Where are you guys when I call for help? I know maybe one of you is engrossed in the story mode right now, so if it's you, don't feel bad. The story needs special attention, I agree

But where is everyone else? Sometimes I'll see four or five others online with me. When things go south, and I need backup, I usually have to fight alone. I've taken to sending PSN messages with sitreps instead of just blindly inviting. Nothing seems to work. This has happened near half a dozen times now over the last few days.
Just today I had two guys in Mexico, all holed up in the cannon fort. I couldn't get anywhere near them, and after exchanging some sniper fire across the walls, for no apparent reason they voted to kick me. It would have been nice to have backup to teach them a lesson before they started booting people (I guess they didn't like that I could take them without charging blindly against the cannons).

also, as a side note: could we keep the PS3 (and xbox) rosters on the official sticky up to date? Since the posse is still growing, I want to make sure I keep adding all our new members. It's convenient to just check the official thread under "business of the law" rather than sorting through all the new introductions (some of which don't mention xbox/ps3)

Sorry for not being around, but this week has been crazy for me. And sometimes I leave the game on, usually I'm in a private session when I do this, and walk away to do something.

this week again I've been sending out invites to the posse for help, but I've been getting almost entirely silence. Not counting just teaming for fun, in every single case this week of sending an invite due to needing help in bringing people to justice, NO ONE has come to help me. This is with sometimes as many as 6 lawmen on.
In these fights I am typically outnumbered, outgunned, and if I'm in normal freeroam I usually have to deal with casual users, which is a real pain. In some cases I've been able to enlist the help of "good citizens" (ie other players who are willing to help fight a lawbreaker). In other cases I am forced to run (ie find another freeroam). The lack of backup has seriously hurt my ability to enforce the law!

I just want to know where all you guys are when I need you!
