The Lawmen: Base of Operations?
Hey all,
I was wondering if we are going to establish a base of operations on the map. Somewhere we all meet up upon entering a Free Roam together.
Also, are we going to protect a certain area on top of roaming the map? Or just simply go after hideouts and hunt down anyone foolish enough to become most wanted?

I'm not sure myself, but I always liked Armadillo as a base (in the Sheriff office).

Yup, that wouldn't be too bad at all, and fitting if I don't say so myself.

Ya I wouldn't pick someplace controlled by an army or police force. Armadillo seems to be best.

Armadillo is best. its in the middle and its a good place to look out for criminals.

I honestly haven't been to Blackwater yet in Single Player or in Free Roam. I just haven't managed to wander over there yet. I'll have to check it out, but if they have a Marshal's office, I'm sure that would be cool as well.
Like stated above tho, Armadillo is nice and central.

I vote Armadillo as well. Shinook if you know of any other PS3 posse members feel free to invite them. We should start getting the word out that we have forums so members can talk without having to deal the BS on RD.net.

Why can't we operate out of both Blackwater and Armadillo to me Armadillo makes more sense because it's. In the middle of the map but Blackwater's fancyer then Armadillo. Also don't forget there are transport wheels in both Blackwater and Armadillo. But it's cooler to ride your horse to the location then take out the criminals.

Sounds good to me, we could always patrol an area that takes us between Armadillo and Blackwater. A lot of player killing happens at Twin Rocks, in and around Armadillo, as well as Pike's Basin and the land between Blackwater and West Elizabeth.
Gives us the option of controlling the northern territory and able to travel down into Mexico if things get outta control.

As my experience this morning showed, it's very important that when you are fighting around Armadillo, you try your best to get into the Town. I know there are innocents there but the open ground around Armadillo is deadly for those stuck out in it. When I was in that 2 v 1 fight this morning, I worked hard to get into the town. At that point I was able to get 5-6 kills on the 2 before they overran me.
It would take me 3-4 deaths to get into the town once I spawned a fair distance away. Rifles and snipers where the only way to work yourself back in.
