Golden Gun ? (HELP)

Hey whats up guys im kind of new to RDR. I had it for a least 2 or 3 days already but i wanted to know how do I get a golden gun do I need to find it or get to level 50. Then I will get a golden gun or what how does this work. And can anyone help me get a golden gun. Is it like better then the other guns or what ?

You obtain a golden gun by getting 100 kills&headshots in any competitive game mode (gang matches or FFA)

You need to have unlocked the gun to have the challenge, though.

The golden guns are awesome, although they're not any better, they just look cool. I've got golden Rolling Block, Double Barreled, Schofield, Volcanic and Springfield, and i've boosted them all. This means that you and a friend enters a privat free roam, go to the place you can get the gun you want in golden and start a match. Then it's only to shoot each other 100 times in the head, and you'll have it.
