I love the way Lovecraft writes - I can really reread his stories because of his style. He's probably one of my favorite authors, and he's influenced so many other horror-esque writers that I have to give him thanks for that. His whole "supernatural" deal can get tiring but the first time I read Cthulhu Mythos... wow.

Other than that I usually read typical fiction.. I like David Eddings, Terry Pratchett.

I appreciate Bram Stoker, but I was never that into Dracula.

I've read most of Tom Clancy's novels. Dan Brown. Karen Traviss' Republic Commando novels are the cat's ass. J.R.R. Tolkien.

I usually enjoy political thrillers and the odd Star Wars novel, although I don't like anything past 10 years after Return of the Jedi. Honestly, how often can the same group of people keep saving the galaxy from annihilation. The Clone Wars novels are much richer and far more interesting.

My favorite book has to be "All Quite on the Western Front"

It is my favorite book because it gives the reader insight to the horrors of war and how no one is safe. Life is life, not a fairytale.

I also enjoy "The Red Badge of Courage"

Mainly because it shows how to delusions of glory and honor dissipate very quickly when you see combat and how you former life and childhood is cut short.

My friend you have missed out on one of the greatest joys on earth reading a comic book.
Here's your assignment from the Head of The Lawmen I want you to go get a comic book read it and enjoy it, I suggest Batman, The Punisher, Spiderman, or the X Men as starter comic books you can read.

I'm more of a Edgar Allan Poe fan. Love his short story's, especialy Black cat and The case of Amotillado. I'm not that acquainted with H.P. Lovecraft. Was he the one who wrote the novel, Black Sabbath. Just remember i read that book when i was in mid school. An epic writer, not?

Oh, I completely forgot Edgar Poe o_0

I am not a major fan of him but I did enjoy "The pendulum" and "The Case of Amotillado"

I did just finish reading "Great Expectations" and I really liked it. It read like you were hearing each character's voice without having to imagine it. Charles Dickens really made use of the slang and talk of the industrial revolution to show how there was a major gap between social classes. There was also a large amount of satire in the book which made me laugh, such as the fact that the higher classes are the only ones with education but they never need to use due to the fortunes they inherit and that the "high class" are always shown as "holier then you" yet they can't even care for their children.
